Every once in a while, some people like to accuse me of being negative. Well' the Knicks and we fans are a proud group and we have nothing to be ashamed of! But when things are bad, it okay to have plenty to bitch about. The Knicks have had their share of ups and downs. We have held some records and we still hold a few. We have had a few of the greatest players to ever played the game. In all, we have a foundation, a history to grow on. When the league was started in a meeting at the Commodore Hotel, back in 1946-47, the Knicks played the inaugural game, winning 68-66. We where the first! And New York is where it all started. We are a proud team and we are proud fans. We want only the best for our team and who ever is managing it, we want them to do the best job they can.
So with that said, when things aren't going so well and management is doing things that just make no sense, it should be understandable as to why I and many others bitch and complain about what's going on. I will even say it's healthy. I am not negative by nature (well' maybe just a little, but...), but only pissed-off as to what these two creeps have been doing to this franchise. I would hope in all honesty that at least a few of you's would have enough foresight to recognize what I beleive has been a wreck of management in the last ten years or so. I've bitched and complained about suckbury and now what I see as a 'so far failure' in the Curry deal (and don't tell me he's improved, because it's microscopic). I look at the rediculousness on the court, as well as OFF the court and I must say 'I am not happy about it at all'. I can be just as positive as the next guy, I can be as forgiving to a point as the next guy, but to see the same old **** happening, with no real progress in the immediate future, it is no wonder I am so pissed! I mean do any of you understand where I'm coming from? I mean I do' know the difference between failure and success and I know if and when it's being address in a real way and when it is not, and it has not been that way. I would like very much to believe that Isiah is trying his damness to make this team a competative winner, but look at the pieces and look at the record and ask yourselves in the big picture, where are we? I'm one of the people who don't like to let it just go by without saying anything. The future is promising, with all of these young guys, and just like always, we'll have to wait and see. I've lost patience in this management, I've lost faith and one more season of **** is just going to make me worse. I just want to get this off of my chest. If you don't like me, that's fine, but to criticize me over our failure to see and address what's been happening I have to give it a chance to be addressed. If the Knicks do' actually turn it around this next season, then you will see the positive me. But the way things been going on, Isiah Thomas's career as team President, GM and now Coach, and virutually zero progress, not to mention a bloatted payroll (and that's what troubles me the most, it really reflects the problem with management), how can anyone expect me to be cool? That's all I wanted to say on the subject. Do any of you feel the same and can you not help but to bitch and complain? I appologize for upsetting anyone. As for us fans, we get no' appoligy for our poor excuse of management. That's the first step to honestly addressing these problems. I'm just trying to be honest here.
