Call me crazy but I think Larry Johnson deserves a spot on this list.

(edit:) I see you put him as a SF on your other list, but I do believe during the Finals run he was the starting PF.

He played well for us, but mostly at small forward.

Dave DeBusschere was easily our best 4, unless you count Willis Reed as a 4. Reed played 4 for us when we had Bellamy before the trade with Detroit.

DeBusschere averaged 16 points and 11 boards. He was a very good passer and one of the best defensive players in the league. He was a smart player. He was player coach in Detroit for a while before the trade.

1) Dave D
Scoring - 8
Passing - 9
Rebounding - 10
Shot Blocking - 6
Strength Toughness - 10
Awareness - 9
Defense - 10
Clutch -8
Athleticism - 8

A friend of mine once met him. They had a few drinks together with a mutual friend in Atlanta. They were talking about Bobby Dandridge, a good forward for the Bucks. DeBusschere said that the way he played Dandridge was to elbow him hard early in the game. Dandridge got the free throws, but he was looking for that next elbow for the rest of the game.

Rudy Tomjonovich, a very good forward and later a good coach said of DeBusschere, that you can forget about your scoring average when he's covering you.

Not many good power fwds in knick history.

Its funny now the knicks have 2 guys now that demand some respect.

Now that I think about it, the knicks have quite a few players on the roster that we can rank pretty high in all time knicks. What does that sat about our team?

^^^should read teams history. Current knicks need spiritual enlightenment.

Larry played more years as a pf for us than a sf. Larry only played sf for us his first two years. His entire career he was a powerforward. The only reason LJ did not start from the being when he first got here is because Oakley was still a Knick.

So that being said, LJ should be on the pf list. If Mason is on the list who only really played sf for us then LJ should be on that list without a doubt.

He played well for us, but mostly at small forward.
