It all started when Patrick Ewing went down with the devastating wrist injury. Then there was the Larry Johnson chronic back and the Allan Houston knee and the Antonio McDyess knee, the Latrell Spreewell broken wrist, the multitude of Camby injuries, the Crawford injury, the Q injuries, the starbury injury, the Frye injury, now the Lee injury and secret Collins injury-surgery that came to light and the many others that I can't think of right now.

Is it just me or our we blessed with nothing but key injuries? It's no wonder we don't win anything. What in the world is going on with our conditioning people? Why do we have so many injuries for so many years? I almost expect injuries now. I find myself factoring our season on them. When will they end? What's up with this?
I'll never trust this' team again.

Basketball is a contact sport. And beyond the contact, the heavy physically demanding schedule puts a lot of strain on a player's body. Conditioning does help and it can't hurt to question it, but injuries are part of this game.

How do you explain Kobe, Duncan and many other stars, teams who don't have the same chronic problems that we seem to have consistently? Our problems are kind of severe.
I'll never trust this' team again.

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

Kobe is a freak of nature. Duncan plays in a control fundamental way. No jumping for this cat unless necessary. Nowadays, dunking is viewed as a must and with these behemoths jumping at least 3' high you know their body will be strained or hurt. Kinda like how an NFL player has a short playing career.

I think it comes down to using your head.

Dice was coming off of a severe injury that kept him out of two years and we rolled the dice. Q had a back no one would touch, Camby had a history of missing a ton of games. So in that respect we are not unlucky or you can't say they got injured when they were injured.....and if you get drunk and injury yourself on a boat it's not unlucky it's just stupid

Every team in the league had to deal with issues, the bucks and the hornets got hit harder than we did last season it's a part of the game. If we were halthy we may have won 38 games, regardless of the lies isiah feeds to everyone.

Starbury is just breaking down because he played so many minutes. Half the league had to deal with this problem last year, Allen, Lewis, Pierce, May, Okafur, CP3, Peja, Bogut, Villenueva, Wade, Shaq, Nocioni, etc.....

And LJ was shot when we traded for him, as was Penny, as was Jalen, it takes a little common sense to go along with luck to win

And Dyess, and Q.
You can't complain about a player's injury record if you know about it before you acquire him.
BTW, what was wrong with Jalen? I thought he was just washed up.

Oh yeah, that's another good one. We were on a run with him and Cartwright, up and coming and then one day, Boom! It was all over. Man' that guy could really score. What a major loss that was.

I'll never trust this' team again.

And that's another thing. They always seem to strive somewhere else, after they injury themselves out of a Knick uniform. Dice just finished the playoffs with the Pistons. Houston is thinking of making a come back. Camby's been dominating more than ever. Rose goes back to Shaq. If we got rid of Jerome, he'd probably dominate once again. I'm thinking maybe the Knicks orgainzation is just a resting stop for players, veterans, a place you pick up a few extra bucks, pretend your injured and then go bust it somewhere else. I know, I'm getting a little carried away, but it sure seems like that sometimes.
I'll never trust this' team again.
