1.Built a company from within – get college grades, talented individuals, establish culture, produce unique product, care about image and quality, and put people (both stuff and customers) first. 2.Collect the ready pieces, buy companies, do aggressive marketing, get people who can talk and not necessary work, spend close to nothing on improving stuff but a lot of money getting big name executives, screw investors and customers, go public, bring investors, make money, sell the thing.
First way not necessary helps people make money but usually companies created this move the society forward, coming up with innovations, and making people and countries proud of themselves. People working there are proud of what they do and care.
Second way is making people rich or put them to jail. The companies created this way have no legacy and nobody remember them after they disappear. Stuff is not giving a dam, doing ****ty job, and ends up in garbage when company collapse.
Both models are valid for any business and also for NBA club. Which model do you think Knicks organization is using? What do you think about it as a fan (customer)?
