Warriors trade: Adonal Foyle, Sarunas Jasikevicius

Why for Knicks? a) bring in a tough minded shooter b) bring in a better b/u Center c) create a spot for DNic

Why for W's? a) save a bit of $$$ b) get a top athlete for wide open system c) get a couple of expiring contracts

If we're going to trade for an undersized SG, why not just keep Nate?
Save the expirings while we're at is. Waive them if you want the roster spots.
Foyle's contract is worse than Jeromes, and neither should be playing ahead of Lee or Morris.

I don't consider James a good contract.

I'm just afraid that we either buy out the expiring guys (because we have no trade opportunities) or worse, we hang on to them & ultimately cause a guy like DNic to not make the team.

Why not use them to make a modest upgrade (at least in character, fitness, intelligence & defense----Foyle over James) at the backup C position & get a guy who fits in with the team concept more (Jasikevicius over Nate).
