Looks like Tulo is going to be our top free agent acquisition this off-season (not counting bringing back FAs we had last year).

And I guess the consensus is to keep Voit on the bench or trade him? Andujar at first? What does he do if Bird's actually healthy for awhile? DH? I think that million or so they gave Bird to avoid arbitration is a possible first step to trading him.

Voit gave us the best production we've had in a long time at first best, though it was only a quarter of a season. We have to give him a solid shot now. There's no obvious place to put Andujar unfortunately.

So despite Hal's Yogi Berra posturing, it looks like Cashman's done dealing as far as Muchadoaboutnothing and/or Harper... Still think we could use Harper though instead of starting the Ancient Gardner...despite those wheels on the basepaths.

DJ LaMahieu is singlehandedly making Cashman GM of the Year.

Second half adds Didi, Judge, Stanton, Severino, Betances, Montgomery and Losaignia. Once the rust wears off, should be interesting.

It might be a meaningless record nobody really cares about, but 28 games and counting!

For the one of us that actually enjoys Homer John Sterling calls, this is a great season to be a Yankees fan!

I like that Messina went in “Hat neutral”. Here we have a player who split time with two clubs and did not want to pick one over the other.
I’m glad they let players have this option on how they are to be “enshrined”.

Possibly best game of the year. The kid they traded away kicks their azz at the plate and then in centerfield! That home run stare looks so Reggie-esque.

Love Judge's quote on Hicks: "That's why he plays centerfield for the New York Yankees"

Does Cashman say "DJ and Hicks" and then do the Arod french kiss in the mirror every morning? Although that starting pitching is starting to look like crap at times.


Probably a good thing if Sanchez goes on the IR at this point. I know alot of Sanchez's outs seem to be on stellar plays in the field and barely off timing, but at this point, even though he's got relatively no power numbers at all, Romine's almost a wash at the plate.

Holy crap, seeing Romine pitch is like...

Maybe they can get some mound work out of Sanchez when he gets back off the IR?

Best record in the MLB and only the third highest payroll! LOL

Should be interesting to see what happens when Severino, Betances, Stanton and the rest come back this late in the season. Could be bad. Could be good.
