Ok this is the 4th straight season Ive started this. If we have another losing season I promise next year there will be no countdown

55 days till Media Day
56 days till Training Camp opens
87 days till Opening night
I wasn't born with enough middle fingers!!!

Thats because we finished under .500 that year too

2001–02 30 52 .366
2002–03 37 45 .451
2003–04 39 43 .476 Lost First Round New Jersey 4, New York 0
2004–05 33 49 .402
2005–06 23 59 .280
2006-07 33 49 .402

What a disgrace, they better finish above .500 this year, what a gm with no idea can do to a proud franchise

Reading this thread = swallowing rat poison. It makes us so excited for the Knicks, and then we have a losing season, no playoffs with either no lotto picks or very questionable draft/lotto choices.

I think we should all become Celtics fans, and that way, the Knicks catch us by surprise and do great, so we can just switch back, as partially proposed in the dunk thread.

Who is in the new Celtic fan club?

I suggest we delete this thread and then have someone ELSE start it back up. That way we still have the countdown thread, we just guard against your starting it being the jinx. That's all.
