damn, how much rebounding does one team want with a team consisting of randolph, lee and fortson? however, fortson is a good post defender. that is a plus.

Great point. If Isiah-and I do mean if, with no disrespect to elite-is bringing in guys he is intending to sign, then he has to be expecting to be under the 15 man limit. The proposed 4 for 3 Artest trade(the one with Garcia and Thomas) doesn't seem to make room for Fortson.

Well I remember elite said he was hanging with the dude. So I'm thinking his source might be legit.

Anyway, its options. Fortson is probably the nastiest post defender in the league. Toughness. The knicks lack it and everyone keeps crying about it. So when Danny fortson is mentioned as a possible knick, respect it cuz that's what everybody keeps crying about and that's defense.

This sounds like a routine kind of thing. Teams always try to see who's available and what they can do, just in case a future need arises.

the overall sentiment on such a smart board with older people should be --- "Ya.........so what?"
