MJ had the refs and stern in his back pocket and already had game , so what.
81 points was classic!

81 points was classic Kobe.

5 regular season MVPS and 6 NBA Finals MVPS was classic Jordan.

Thats the difference!

Anyone ever compare the physical D that teams played back in the 90's and compare it to what it is today. Teams literally used to beat Michael up. IF he played with today's defense there would be no record that he did not break.

Bippity you are being sarcastic right?

Micheal Jordan under stern's leadership(refs) got every benefit of the doubt when it came to calls in his favor.

Gerald Wilkins and Starks tried to defend Micheal and was never given a fair chance to even attempt any resistance.

Pushing Byron Russell IN THE FINALS to get his game winning shot off told fans all over the world and america it just doesn't matter.

I saw no contact in that play whatsoever playa. MJ would eat Bryant for lunch. If MJ had Shaq on his team, he'd had more championships than Bill Russel.

Isiah is to Islesfan as David Stern and the refs are to Playa.

allanfan, I know you are joking but just in case you are one of those

Left hand momenteum push off on russell gives him enormus space to hit the shot.

I think Michael Jordan got a lot of calls. I think he got a lot of touch calls as well. I think he also got beat up, as did the rest of the league. It was much more physical in those days

It's no use arguing. This happens all the time. A player stops playing for a few years and everyone forgets how good they were

The major difference is MJ was just flat out more efficient shooting wise. In his prime MJ would have a true shooting percentage like 60% or over. Kobe is like 55%. That takes in to account shooting from the field, from 3pt and fts.

Kobes pers are good in the 23-28 range but Jordans pers in his prime were in the 28-31 range!

Kobe has a lil bit of Jordan and DR.J in his ability around the basket as you will see in Kobe Bryant: A LEGEND
