Although he hasn't played a real NBA game yet Horford will be ATL's 4 and I mean immediately.

Top 5:
1. Duncan - WEST
2. KG - EAST
3. Dirk - WEST
4. Brand - WEST
5. Amare - WEST

Balance is still west, by far.

Wouldn't you say Odom is more of a SF?

Wait I thought there was just a thread that declared Howard a PF.

I wouldn't say its west by far, because Amare isn't a PF he plays center for the Suns. I htink Brand and Zach are about equal. I know before you call me a homer take a look at Zach's numbers vs. Brand and then let me have it.

Howard is a center.

So wait, why come they announce him as a power forward during NBA games. You better talk to the Magic announcer.

He didn't play much defense vs Zach. Zach pretty much wiped the floor with him.

My top PFs
Duncan W
KG E
Dirk W
Boozer W
Brand W
O'Neal E
Zach E
Wallace E

Sometimes tall PFs play center if the team has another good PF or is lacking a center worthy of starting. Why this is such a foreign concept is unknown. Playing a 6'10" or 6'11" PF at center is much less of an out of position issue on most nights, than playing players at other positions out of position. Take into account, as well, that a certain percentage of NBA players are naturally able to play multiple positions without much issue, anyway.

What's the issue? Because it knocks Zach down a notch or two. Who cares? It doesn't make anyone a better player just because you might consider a certain player to play a different position.

82 games lists Howard as a Center. ESPN lists him as a F/C. NBA lists him as a Forward. To me he plays more like a Center. He rarely steps out and shoots the jumper. it's all in close, tips and dunks. Their best win% of 78.5%, came when they played Nelson, Ariza, Hill, Turkoglu and Howard at Center. They list Milicic as playing PF 53% of the time he was on the court. ESPN lists him as a F/C.

82games.com isn't always correct. One year they had Curry listed at the PF and Frye as the center when they were on the court together.

Either way, this is a petty argument.. so let's abstract it a bit. Zach is a good PF. He's a notch below the elite and his biggest deficiency is defense.

If you just call them "Post Players" then you get basically the same list. Its getting more respectable, but Duncan gives them a big edge.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

82 games is a joke. They often list guys by heights not who actually played what position.
