do you think isiah would be desperate enough to get artest to become competitive in the east? he would involve lee and balkman in trade talks to try to remain on par with the other teams?

It will be interesting because when you add a Ray Allen and KG to almost any team--they should be considerably better. I still have some doubts but in the east--that should be sure fire to get them 45 wins and round 2.

Ron is the missing part for this great collection of mulcontents.
On the other hand Lee and Bulk are surely out of place...

Right now is the time to atleast take a stab at the 100-1 odds boston is getting to win it all. they wont but its a nice risk reward bet.

I can't believe Jefferson and Theo are a better package than anything we can put together.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Artest at the 2 with Q at the 3 could be pretty sweet with the other guys on this team. The insanity factor goes up pretty high though. Isiah would really be asking for it.

The thing about teams like Boston and Orlando against this Knicks squad is that we could really get any post defender in foul trouble right away. Hopefully you could negate KG that way.

It's time to open your eyes man - we have zero value players considering contracts, experience, and buggage.
Come to earth man.

I agree, but you have to realize that jefferson is better than curry and is going to put up a double double and block some shots, and he isn't as turnover prone as zach.

I would look into Zach, Nate, Chandler and Morris which is as good as bostons package

I think they win the east with that team to be honest. Green is going to get a ton of open shots as well and he is only getting better, tony allen looked like a solid player, and if they can find a way to keep rondo out of the deal i don't see how any team in the east is better than them to be honest.....

If Eddy is as good as the "lovers" say he is, a package with him surely should have gotten us KG, who would compliment Zach perfectly (unless of course teams value Al Jefferson much more than Eddy).

It's not really close, eddy has been in the league longer and hasn't really shown that much improvement....

Jefferson 3 years as a pro
06-07 16pts 11rbs 1.3ass 1.5bpg 1.97 tos

Curry 6 seasons as a pro
06-07 19.5pts 7rbs 0.8ass 0.5blks 3.64tos

Curry was the focal point of the knicks offense, and when jefferson was the focal point he went over Currys production

Bonn, don't you think there is more than just saying Eddy is a better player than Al? How about salaries? Eddy's weight problem? Work ethic of both players? Positions (one is a center the other a PF, right?)?

I think you can shift jefferson to 5, put curry is a big question mark and always seems disinterested and not motivated......

That deal puts them in the Finals if they do it and works out great for minny if they can get gerald green and jefferson to so with randy foye

You'd think weight problems and work ethic should be factored in to the "lovers" evaluation of Curry, shouldn't it? And shouldn't the difference in positions favor Curry? The center (not the forwards) anchors your defense (or should at least). I'll give you the difference about salaries, although Minn needs a lot in salary just to match KG's. They (understandably) would rather use Theo's expiring contract than Eddy to match the salaries, though (while keeping Al).
