No one from starting 5 in Summer Leauge should be traded.
The way they can develop I want our starting 5 to dissapear.
Eddy, Zack, JJ2, Craf, and Marbs are so boring - they have no upside and no future.
I am not talking about JJ1, Q, and Malik. They not so boring but pretty much done too.
I am ready to include this 8 guys in trades for anythiong. But hell - who want them?

Somebody probably has to go so that we can avoid big buyouts.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Eddy and Zach are 25 and 26 yrs old, respectively. Craw is 27. QRich is 27.

You need a mix of youth and veterans to win in this league. We have a nice young nucleus and some promising pieces. Let's see what they can do for the next few years, then Marbury, Malik and a few others come off the cap and you retool.

No upside or future for Curry or Randolph? Based upon what evidence can you make such a claim when both have improved their games last year.

Both Curry and Randolph have established track records in this league- both are nice scorers, but neither are noted for their defense- curry can't jump for rebounds.

Good players both, but neither promise to become better and turn into championship caliber talent.

There is a greater chance for Wilson Chandler to turn into an elite payer than either curry or zach.

Wake me up when Curry averages 9 boards a game for a whole season- probably the season he can opt out of his contract and ask for max money.

Agreed.
I never sad they are bad. They will not get better. And the evidence is their game.
And I want to repeat - nobody want them. Guess why?

You guys are going a bit overboard in assuming that these guys can't improve. We know Curry has the "ability" to rebound in the double digits, it's a matter of his focus and IMO his physical condition. If this guy comes in a bit lighter and he focuses, he should improve his stats and there will be no more complaining. Just give these guys a chance this year and see what they can do.

Zach and Curry are much better than you're giving them credit for, but I suspect you'll all be eating crow AGAIN like this year which at the start many of you didn't think he was going to do what he ended up doing, so it just goes to show you what you don't know about these guys. Just look at how unreasonable you're all being about Zach, who is a top player at his position. We need to be a bit less critical of these guys and see what the possibilities of them being successful could lead to.

So eddy has
the "ability" to rebound in the double digits
but never did, and
If this guy comes in a bit lighter and he focuses
he will be another guy. Right? But he is same guy man and will be same 99%
I don't care about Eddy and Zack stats but about luck of defense, short blocking, rebounding, and leadership. No team is winning because of somebody stats. But a lot are losing.
And we will
all be eating crow AGAIN like this year which at the start many of you didn't think he was going to do what he ended up doing
Yes we will do it because of his erratic shooting and bad defense.
We need to be VERY critical to all this guys because they MUST be embarrassed to start working on their game. The nice guys method is historically useless for lazy booms like Eddy and Zack

eddy had a few double digit rebounding games last year,

specifically:

4 games in January, 5 in December
February 23rd against the bucks (11)
February 26th against the heat (11)
March 20th against dallas (12)
March 31st against the new orleans (13)
april 4th against the sixers (11)
April 7th against the bucks (13)
Let's go Knicks. That's amare

that's that we can count on two hands the number of double digit rebounding games he had

how can jason kidd on a 35 year old surgically knee averages more rebounds?

Well obviously he hasn't come close to doing it enough. This doesn't change the situation in terms of his "ability". He does have the ability to do more and hopefully he'll prove true to his word to improve in this area and others. I'm truly pulling for the guy to make the needed improvements. He's so close to being able to reach All Star level and it won't take much for him to do that. He just needs to step up his effort and focus and he should be able to get more bounds, blks and assists. I don't care if he never leads the league in those areas. I just want to see him get better and to improve on his conditioning enough to be a better overall player for this team. The goal is for him to help us win and I believe he can do it and that he wants to do it.

I think he's finally getting the idea of just how much work it takes to be great in this league. He may really have believed he was working hard before, but I think now that he realizes that he wasn't doing enough. It's sad that he has taken so long to start trying to get it together but it's better that he finally gets it going, than for him to continue to play below his potential.

No offense, & i'm not crazy about that starting lineup at all, but i'd venture to guess that Eddy, Zach, JJ2, Craw & Marbs would beat our Summer leaguers' in a real game 9 times out of 10.
I am not talking about JJ1, Q, and Malik. They not so boring but pretty much done too.

Turd & Malik = not so boring? i have no idea what your standards of excitement are if you're going to make that differentiation.
