LJ was lowkey when he was still on the Knicks. I remember Jeff Van Gundy talked about that one time. It's understandable that some people would rather be people then celebrities, y'know.

I luv LJ, but when you have children out of wedlock and married, it quite natural to try and want to be low key.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

LOL, when you get two paternity lawsuit subpoenas right before tipoff during the same week, you will definitely want to stay low key.

Are you living in a time-wharp? Are you serious? Yeah it may be immoral but who would hide away because of it. There are plenty of celebrities who do much worse things but aren't in hiding. That's way to judgemental.
NY KNICKS 4 EVER! Will we ever find players like Anthony Mason, Xavier McDaniels, Patrick Ewing again? I hope so.

At any rate, i would love to see LJ. He was one of my favorite Knicks players - I was at the 4 point play game. To me he emobided what the old school Knicks were all about; fire, determination, passion & respect for the team they were representing. Please post details if you find out when and where.

Larry caught a lot of hell for his spawnings 10 years ago and drew the ire some who criticised him big time. You had some guys in the news like him who were having a good time and not paying for there children. Larry being a laid back guy not seeking the spotlight eventually lost the attention he was getting. Bill Walton said during a big playoff game that Larry was an awful human being.

Now I don't recall all of his discretions, but Larry was not the best of people no matter how much we enjoyed him as a Knick. And since these guys are entertainers who get paid big salaries from tickets the public buys, they are kind of in the public by nature.

Was Lovable Larry a piece of Sh!t? PErhaps? Is for us as fans to be judgemental about it? TO some degree yes, as its the nature of how they become wealthy and we fans to like our sports heroes to be decent men. Time has been kind to Larry in the eyes of knick fans.

I went to the one-on-one tourney today. He slimmed down, but still chisled (i'd say 225 lb). I overheard an interview with the ny post and nyknicks.com...He's running a couple businesses in Memphis and Chicago and spending a lot of time w his 4 sons. Doesn't play ball anymore b/c of the back. Bobbito Garcia from 'hot minute at the half' and 'stretch & bobbito' interviewed him as well. FYI...This site is my homepage and I've been stalking for the past couple years. LJ's the reason I became a Knicks fan. Thanks for putting word out on his cameo today. Surprisingly, a lot of young kids and some older cats were like 'who's that guy'...pointing to LJ.

I saw LJ today at 2 Penn Plaza. I had a conference for work and it required me to goto 2 Penn Plaza. As I was at the secruity desk getting a visitor pass, I saw LJ walk in. He is in incredible shape. He looks about 20lbs lighter now than when he played. And he looked like all muscle. I am never one to bug a celebrity or famous person but for some reason when I saw him...

Me: Hey LJ
LJ: (looks at me, smiles) he man whats going on
Me: Not much bro how you doing
LJ: pretty good (or something like that as he keeps walking)
Me: Man we need you back on the Knicks
LJ: Yeahhrrpp

At that point he could tell that I was calling too much attention so he was trying to get away from the lobby. He got into an elevator and went upstairs.

I really wish LJ was still on our team. He was a warrior.

That's cool JTT. Unfortunately though, we just gotto look foward. We all wish to have Spree, H20, Ward, LJ, Ewing, Harper, Mason, Starks and Oakley back, but that's far in the past believe it or not. We as Knick fans have had it severely rough, but all our hope relies on Curry and Zach right now, so we just gotto pray they are doing the right thing now, and maybe, down the road, they can gain LJs heart. Hard to do, yes, but maybe not out of he question either. Only time can tell, but this team is no longer worth byatchting about, so we all might as well stop stressing and look at the bright side. We've neem given the crap for this many years, so maybe it's finally the Knicks time to rise up.

I was there at the last man standing too but had to bounce early so I didn't see lj.
I did see his interview. He looks to be in awesome shape. He looks a little older but he just looks to be in absolute awesome shape.

The interview looked a little staged. Its all good though. It was just great to see the dude.

If I ever saw him in person. I would be spreechless. I would definately out up my "L" in respect to that nyk warrior.

Exactly how I feel. It was good to see him and good to see that he is taking care of himself. I just really appreciated everything he did for the team. Having a character player like him and Oakley would do wonders for this team right now.
