I though I would never come back to this board but here I am....


The best thing to happen the Knicks a a long time....we're talking about 10 years.....is to clear out the coaching staff and start a new.

I wanna see Dave Cowens, and Starks on the bench next year. Starks was born a New yorker...he would instill pride back to the organization. Cowens is a no nonsense type of guy and he's a hard worker(in my opinion, the media and some of you media purists would disagree). If he's an assistant I believe he would help a great deal with the work ethic of certain players and hopefully him and Starks can get the players moving in the right direction.

After Don Cheaney gets the guys he wants here.....the Knicks can truly put together a team that plays ball....not just try to copy the glory years from the 90's.

What do you think about that? K.C.Jones? The dude is old. He coached alot of good Celtic teams to championships....He's a proven winner an dhe was another hustle player from back in the day.....Cowens, Starks, KC? They all do one thing....they bring credibility and respect to the bench and hopefully guys will see that and take a second look at what the Knicks are offering....as far as contracts.

I think the Knicks have to do this though because alot of teams are turned off by the Knicks old, boring system. Change is good.

I would love to see Micheal Cooper on the NYK bench. This guy is a defensive standout from his days with the Lakers and bring an exciting brand of basketball. He would make an ideal coach some day.
