Should the Blazers be concerned that they selected him number 1?


He's also been shut down due to Tonsillitis and won't see any action until Pre-Season.

I think he will have a lot of adjustments to make. Again I go back to his matchup with Hilbert where he admitted it was the first time he ever faced anyone his size or bigger. Welcome to the NBA.

You never really recover from that tonsillitis.
He'll never be the same...

But I heard from a friend's uncle that he's eating ice cream, so everyone is hopeful that he'll have a successful recovery and a great season!

Well Blazers have to be jumping for joy considering this news. Nice inside source there, would be more assured the news came from the actual surgeon. But fouling out in the first Pre-Season game could imply he won't be a steady defensive anchor in the NBA.
