we were sitting on the couch watching the game... hanging on every moment as usual when the knicks played the Bulls in the playoffs.

i can remember it like it was yesterday... starks had the ball out by the three point line and ewing came over and set a pick for starks and... and.... then it happened...

...and everybody lost their mind!

i was standing in front of the tv disgusted because latrell sprewell had almost lost the ball out of bounds on the previous play and it was game 5 and things were looking real grim for the knicks.

i remember allan houston aimed a shot at the rim and...the ball took a bounce...and...

...and the knicks broke miami's heart AGAIN.

This should be a hot topic. Too bad no one can remember any knick moments cuz they are mostly closet Bull fans still left over from the MJ era.

A big time moment for me were mostly bad ones for the Knicks.

Reggie hitting 8 points in 8 seconds to win a playoff game a while back. He pushed poor Greg Anthony to the floor.

The Ewing finger roll. I cried for like a week. I would have felt better if he stopped and popped, or at least floated the shot off the backboard.....but a finger roll? Geez.

When Derek Harper flipped Jo Jo English....If I was there i would have been up in there helping my man.

Charles Smith.....the f'ing guy should have never been a Knick. How many...ahhhh forget it.

Scruffy LJ hitting that 4 point play. I sware the whole ghetto went up in smoke that night. You would have thought it was New Years Eve with all the gun shots you heard after that game.

Damn we shouldn't have traded X-man.
Need i say more.....

What up Prod.

When LJ's shot went down and then they blew the whistle I think I wet my pants. What a shot baby, what a shot. Seeing Reggie's face after that shot was absolutely worth all the years (maybe not) but it was still a great moment.

The Starks dunk I also went crazy.

The Houston running jumper I ran around my neighborhood screaming, too happy to say anything coherent.

Ah, the good old days...

Patrick Ewing closing out the celtics with a three towards the end of the game. The Knicks came back after getting blown out in game 2 of the playoffs against the celtics. Down 2 games to 0 they came back to win the series.
Joe Kline pushing his teammate who was trying to help Eddie lee Wilkins up from the floor.

Out of all the favorite moments i guess the Starks dunk and LJ making big shots and then going back down the court and flashing the LJ with his arms were some all-time favorites of mines. It seems like decades ago but the Knicks seemed to always put a good team out on the floor and their basketball games were "can't miss". Now it hurts to watch them at times...

All of these moments were special, but I am going to take you back to the Bernard King Era when he had those back to back 50 point games on the road, that was nasty, I was at home In NY, in the bronx, I stayed up late to watch both games and was rewarded with two great performances by one of the leagues most deadly scorers...

The Starks Dunk, Houstons bouncer and LJ's 4 point play were up there also..
