C-Randolph Morris--use 6-11 260 pound frame with soft touch and get right under the basket and dominate
PF-Wilson Chandler--let us see the best Shawn Marion lite imitation
F-Demetris Nichols-a couple of 20 point games with good D
F-Balkman--We already know what you can do--hope to show a little more skill level
G-Mardy Collins--Hopefully he is well? and can hit that open J at a better % and continue to do what he did end of year against better players.
G Nate--no need for 15 FGAs go 3-5 with 5 rebounds 8-9 assists and 2 steals
Trey Johnson---can he score at this level--we will find out.

Any sleepers in the house?

Why isn't Eddy there working on his passing, defense, and rebounding? Ron Artest wasn't too humble to play!

I don't see Trey Johnson on our summer league roster. I've been kinda rooting for the guy since someone posted about him before the draft. The kid on our roster is Trey Simmons. I think Trey Johnson is playing for the Heat's summer league team.

Nate...should we force him to play PG where he's probably going to fail? Or should he go off with his scoring ability to re-establish his value around the league so that we can move him to a team that will better utilize his abilities?

Anthony Mason played too without any suspensions.

If you have several areas of the game that need A LOT of work (or if you just love the game like I think Mason and Artest did), you should be there.

A team like the Heat could use Nate's scoring. If we could get Cook for Nate, I think that would be a good investment for our future. We could send Cook down to the d league next year and let him develop and then give Collins a consistent 10-15 minutes at backup PG.

You can't be serious about having a player at Curry's point in his career doing Summer League. It might be noble, but I wouldn't expect that from a guy in his position. I'd rather he continue his normal workout routine than play with a bunch of kids that don't know what they're doing. He could get hurt messing around with them.

You could get hurt working out too. He has areas that need huge work. I made the suggestion because I genuinely want Eddy to improve.

Then you should be furious that D Lee isn't playing.

If he was one of the worst players in the league at his position in most aspects of the game, I would be. But he isn't.

Defensively, he is in the same boat as Eddy. And far as offense he needs to score beyond 8 feet. I would say he is weak in key areas.

Did Somebody Say Summer League "Goals"?

Goals?

Randolph Morris - catch his breath and have a moment to orient himself as any rookie would, develop just ONE move he can rely on, hit the open man

Wilson Chandler - learn where his game fits in the Knicks offense, as a third option at small forward, make friends by playing defense

Demetris Nichols - find his NBA comfort zone from outside, work on staying with his man on the perimeter

Balkman - work on consistency from 15 feet, hit free throws

Mardy Collins - heal the knee, fix the baseline jump shot, pick up where he left off at the end of last season when he averaged 14 and 5+ assists as a starter

Nate - goal, demonstrate maturity and better decision-making on offense, work on dance moves at home

Trey Johnson - goal, to simply receive an invite to training camp

David Lee - provide moral support and encourage the yoot, monitor the leg carefully and honestly

Jamal Crawford - test the ankle and gain the confidence to trust it in contact drills
once a knick always a knick
