I'm pretty sure he is going to Arizona - that's why no one talks about drafting the #2 high schooler in the country. Nice try, though.
go knicks!

UA recruit to test NBA draft
The Arizona Republic
May. 10, 2003 12:00 AM

Ndudi Ebi, a top-10 recruit from Houston who has signed with Arizona, will declare himself eligible for the NBA draft.

"He's going to see where he'll go," Ebi's father, Godwin Ebi, told the Tucson Citizen on Friday. "We'll see and then get to the next stage."

Ebi said his son will not retain an agent, making him eligible to play at Arizona if he decides not to go pro. The deadline to withdraw from the draft is June 19.

Ebi, a 6-foot-10, 195-pound forward, is not listed among the top 50 players in this summer's draft according to NBAdraft.net. He averaged 23.3 points and 11.6 rebounds last year for Houston Westbury Christian.

Guess what Kevein Garnett weighed in at coming into the league? 6-11 200 pounds. This kid is 6-10 200 and is a SF who handles the ball like a PG. The same thing with kobe McGrady Garnett--you want one of these players you have to be bold and willing to let the player develop. Bottom line is you dont win if you dont have a franchise type player--this kid has those types of skills and heart.

For once, I completely agree with Briggs. I was sure this guy was going to college, but if he's testing the draft waters, we should really be looking at him. This guy has the skills to be a franchise type player, fo sho. He could definitely play the 3, and maybe even in a few years, the 4. This guy might be the besr option left at the 9.

Who said this draft wasn't deep?
go knicks!

if the knicks can come out of the nba draft with ANYONE worthwhile then i'm all for it.

Briggs looks like you have been on a roll as of lately. it's good to see that you haven't mentioned Chris Kamans' name as of late. (keeping my fingers crossed)

i also agree that this is going to be a very very deep draft.

wouldn't it be something if the knicks could come out of it with a punishing power forward and an athletic small forward.

yeah i doubt it too but since we all go thru this every year then don't let me be the one to stop all the fun
all those years as a fan and now i'm the anti-knick. life is crazy aint it.

Last year I got my hopes up and look what we got. I am not getting excited about this draft - I dont see us getting better with a #9 pick.

We could easily leave the draft with KAMAN #9 / LANG #31 / OUTLAW #39
