It's a tragedy that Patrick Ewing, arguably the greatest player in the history of this franchise, can't even get a assistant coaching job with this franchise. What a joke.

I SAY UGH's Ego is too large to accommodate Ewing. He must have some serious dirt on Dolan.

We don't need Patrick to be the fourth assistant charting blocks. That would be disrespectful. When he does come back to NY he should be the first assistant or head coach.

Maybe, they feel that Zach does not need any help finding the strip clubs in NYC.

Why any respectful person will want to work under Isiah?
Patric never was stuppid and money is not an issue for him.
Team cablevision only good for money suckers without any principals.

Seriously we have a group of classy people who can built Knicks team back from ground up.
Patric, Oak, Ward, Huston.
This people will be trusted in NY to do the full reconstraction of the team.
May be it is time for Knicks-II expansion team. Looks like cablevision Knicks are unfixable.

It is fairly astonishing that:

1. Ewing was available
2. He was a legendary center for us and one of our greatest players ever
3. Our team now revolves around two young big men who need to learn from someone like Ewing

... AND WE DO NOT RETAIN HIS SERVICES!!!!!!!!!

This is where the owner needs to step in and make the move himself.

But our owner is so clueless that it's ridiculous.

Which is also what make the Yankees a class organization. You think the Yanks would snub someone who was as important to their organization as Ewing was to the Knicks?

When push comes to shove, Steinbrenner is as loyal as they come.
