You just want to see him play for ONE of your favorite teams, huh? I wouldn't be mad with that pick....

this is a pick that a smart GM that has a team like the knicks would make, a young, raw 6'10 kid with unlimited potential that could learn and work his way into the lineup. Layden is too stupid..

I would like him also prod..

For the same reasons I think we'll take a shot at Boris Diaw. Lots of athleticism and length. He'll, most likely go somewhere in the middle of round one.

yeah swish he entered into the nba draft but hasn't hired an agent which has to mean that he is trying to see where how high he can go.

i can't understand why most don't mention mario austin either the guy is a solid inside player. he won't be a superstar but he will be a solid player but honestly i think right now he is a better basketball player than kurt thomas and clarence weatherspoon. he kinda reminds me of a taller othella harrington with a more consistent post up.

ohhhh i get it well andy katz wrote: NBA scouts contacted Thursday morning were confident that Austin would be a first-round pick, somewhere in the mid to late first round....http://espn.go.com/ncb/news/2002/0404/1363106.html

now watch how fast his stock rises in here...

You crazy Karnivore, lol....

On the real, M.Austin is a beast in the blocks. The only thing that worries me is his outside shot. I think I've watched like 3-4 college games this year involving Miss St. and that's the only thing suspect about him....
But dude is so nasty download, I would take a chance on him......

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. k9 you wild. pike is still at allsports.com clicking "refresh" all day trying to see if anyone has replied to his posts.

yeah swish you hit the nail on the head then. his outside shot is not his strong point to put it nicely. and i agree with you from what i have seen these past couple of years his post up is there. off the top of my head i think he would be good for someone like the Lakers or the celtics.

6-7? I don't know about that...I'm not sure what his height is but I would be surprised if it's 6-7. if that's the case, this is one dude that plays bigger than that in the paint.
