i don't see the Sonics making that deal... we'd probably have to throw in Balk & replace Jefferies w/the expiring contracts.

Add Dickau and/or Freddie Jones to add to Lewis's salary increase.

if the sonics don't want to lose lewis for nothing, the knicks can offer the following package:

dickau + jones + nate + balkman + morris which comes out to approximately $9 mil.

so they basically get 3 late 1st round/2nd round talent for shard. but we'd have to give him 5 years at $60. (rumor is that he's looking for 6 years/$75)

rashard Lewis? gimme a break! he stands 6'10 and can't even rebound the ball. He can't even play defense. starting five marbury, crawford, curry, randolph and lewis= the NY defenseless..

As for a SF- we just drafted 2 players- and Isiah said when he was talking about Chandler without mentioning him by name, he was going to take someone who could help 2 years out-

adding Lewis @ either 5 or 6 years doesn't fit that sentiment- not that that matter. A 6 year Max deal definitely matches our trend of adding contracts.

damm, is he that good ?

Thats alot of money, I am weary of players who perform well in contract years (See big turd)

interesting to hear so much objection about acquiring a 23 ppg weak defensive player like Rashard Lewis while everyone's so hyped about adding Zach Randolph... all of a sudden money's an issue... i love the line of logic that prevails on this forum.
