___________. Isiah pretty much guaranteed that this (Zach Randolph trade) is not the last deal of the summer, so that leaves me with this question...Who will be the next new New York Knick? What direction do you see him going? I say small forward. I think he is going to push hard for Rashard Lewis, Deshawn Stevenson or Desmond Mason.

btw, it would have to include a s&t or we have to cut players.

deshawn and desmond may only require MLE's. so i think the player we do acquire will have a somewhat bigger contract (especially with 2 expirings in hand at $6+ mil).

What could happen : Deshawn Stevenson and first rounder for Dickau and Jones

What I want to happen: Rashard Lewis and Mikael Gelabale for Dickau, Jones, Malik Rose, Nate and first rounder.

I really doubt Artest will be a Knick, even though we wouldn't have to give up much for him at this point.

G Wallace makes the most sense but I doubt we have what it takes to get him.

We would def have to give up Lee and pick in any deal for Gerald. No expiring contracts because they don't need cap room.

i don't see anymore deals going down, unless Kobe forces a trade to NY.

I agree with TMS. The move that makes the absolute most sense is Curry for a nice shotblocker. Dalembert doesn't sound bad right about now.

I know it ain't gonna be Kobe, not the way he's going right now. And I know we'll seal the door for a possible Wade or Lebron chance also. He just keeps on digging us harder and harder into the ground. After next season, mark my words. 'I told you so'! But by then, it won't matter anymore.
I'll never trust this' team again.

According to Stephen A., we've already made 2 offers for him, and the Zach acquisition opens up the previously closed floodgates on "character" risks.

I don't believe Curry is going to be traded, so we should stop with those scenarios. I.T. bet his career on him, he is not going to turn around and ship him off now.

I see Artest as the person coming on board, his value with all his problems is taking a hit, plus we can probably pick him up on the cheap. Personality issues don't matter in NY, too big of a city, especially if your a lock to play solid D and your aggressive.

dalembart doesn't sound good about now either. lol.

I'd see Artest or Rashard lewis on their way.

The two expiring contracts and Malik are quite the "salary relief" package teams are looking for.

I still think jefferies was affected by the shredded wrist to start the season...never a good thing to destroy your shooting hand and play a season, but he seems to be coming around.

I'd like to stand pat, but from what I'm reading on Rashard Lewis, he's the final piece to the ever complicated puzzle...we may have to lose nate and crawford though and they sell out when they play there, and if that is the case...

Hmmm.

I'm going to say artest and rashard lewis and if neither we do nothing or get kobe or garnett for a crawford/curry package (and expirings).
Let's go Knicks. That's amare

LOL, you keep mentioning two guys who already stated that playing at MSG and NY was not a big deal. Wade took it a step further and said MSG is just another arena to him. He backed off on those words but I will go with his first thoughts about playing in NY.

i want no part of Dalembert's contract, & i don't see why DAL would take back any of the garbage contracts we would likely be willing to offer for him either.

because of the fact that Isiah's thrown his lot in with a Zach/Curry/Steph trio to build this team around, i think the most reasonable & logical options to pursue at this point would be either Marcus Camby, Rasheed Wallace or Ron Artest.

all 3 are guys that Isiah has shown interest in over the years, & none of them have contracts that would be bloated cap killers... i'd offer up Malik & a combination of 1 or 2 young players for 1 of those guys... Camby is obviously the most desirable but unless we offered up D Lee in the package, DEN would probably not be interested, so right now Sheed &/or Artest probably are the most realistic options, unless like i say Kobe forces a trade to NY, in which case i could care less how much salary Isiah takes on w/other players because we'll finally have a franchise stud to build around.

I forgot about sheed. lol. he's less desirable than randolph seemed.

I don't want sheed anymore...that would be just too much to stomach...and if he plays defense, it's of the hard foul variety.

We upgraded Channing Frye, and that's good...if frye had played up to the previous year, that's 5 more games we win. (opinion alert)

the injuries late in the season to lee and crawford really hurt.

Q Rich's back.

I know every team has injuries, but those were key players to our cause.

I agree. watching randolph play, he tries hard to win.

I've got a more troubled past than him.

Randolph is better than frye and malik rose and francis combined, so we truly upgraded our team, and that's the important thing.

I think kobe may end up on the knicks.
