Another devloping theme i have noticed is how happy people are when someone leaves. How can we hate this trade--we got rid of this guy and his contract. Each time we have gotten rid of one of these contracts--its been followed by taking a larger one with a big name behind it. I wonder just how long it will be until I hear---when can we shift Randolph out--he doesnt fit well or lets just eat his contract. Sorry folks I'm just very disappointed IT took a real serious curve here. I was supportive with what he was doing--I thought we were going in he right direction. He shouldve stayed away from this temptation of having to do something or getting rid if of Francis in this way. This trade thwarts serious progress and style of play we *couldve* followed. I havent said anything about the drafted players[other than we are overloaded on the 3 position] but it doesnt matter--we are stuck with a highly paid team with TERRIBLE balance and the bet shouldnt be how many wins[it wont be 40+] but rather who shoots the first scud missile with "im not getting my shots and playing my game" add up the FGA folks on the history of these players. the glove dont fit

What happenned to the Briggs of yesterday who said
"The only thing I ask is that no one make excuses for rebuilding retooling remodeling getting to know you getting to know all about you injuries outside shooting ballhndling basketball IQ strip clubs rotweilers tatoos cribs shot blocking dunk contests-----just show me the Ws--that is it--once wetraded the next Tim Duncan--anything that was on the table is off--this is a win now team and if it doesnt win--someone has to come forward and take blame after 6 years and a billion dollars. "

I was disappointed yesterday as I am today. I explain why I don't think it will work logically rather than spewing venom. That doesn't mean I can't sit back and hope the Knicks still win and let the W's and L's decide if this was the wrong move.

This team just isn't going to play good defense next yr. Its just not going to happen. And since thats going to be the case we have to make sure we are absolutly dominating on offense. First step is taking care of the ball.

First, I don't think we are done trading, we are going to get another SF and say goodbye to quite a few more players here.

Second, I think that Zach can co-exist with Curry, but he will have to probably play away from the basket a bit more. Plus, Curry will do it on occasion as well and probably take a few more outside shots.

There is allot of truth in what Isiah said about improving our perimeter defense. That will solve allot of our interior problems. Mardy, Balkman and Stephon have been playing very good defense. We also got a good outside shooter in Nichols, that will help if Q is down again, or any other of our outside scorers.

Ideally I would have preferred a defensive presence next to Curry, but I can't complain too much as Zach is a talent and he's young.

The trade was fine.

The Marbury, Francis, Curry, and Crawford ones, however, were not.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.
