The trade by itself was a steal.


But looking at the big picture, how can Isiah sit there straight faced and sell this to fans?


I can see this becoming even worse of a problem than Franbury.


Could this maybe be a prelude to a Curry deal this summer? SHOULD it be?
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

it should, but the question is will it... the same questions were left unanswered when he made the trade for Steve Francis... we all naturally assumed another trade was on the way, but it never came... i'm not getting my hopes up that he's got another move up his sleeve to make this one make sense to me... if it happens, great.

I don't think so. I don't think he is valued anywhere else as much as by his current GM/Coach. I also think that there will be plenty of nights where Eddy gets into early foul trouble and Zach will be playing the 5 with Lee at the 4. Eddy and Zach both tend to miss about ten games a year so that will also balance things out. I think this will work out fine. If Zach was traded to a team where the coach was a stern, structured task master (i.e.Frank, Pop, Van Gundy, Rileyetc.) he would have alot of problems. Thomas as a coach has strengths and one is the ability to work with his dysfunctional roster.
