I give him that. But he has no Idea how to build a team. This Randolph trade solidifies that he severly screwed up the past 2yrs comparing to where this team should be at.

Randolph & Curry don't fit together. Randolph is going to want to be the focal point in the post. Curry is going to want to be the focal point in the post. Curry's best attribute was that he was a good post presence. With Randolph now here Curry best attribute is reduced. Curry isn't a good rebounder, shotblocker, passer or help defender so how effective is he going to be with Randolph now taking away a lot of his touches. Randolph is going to have to take a way lesser role in order for this to work and have to be a PF that scores without plays run of him and attack the boards hard which he is good at. But I can see him hoging the ball pissing off Curry & Marbury who then start hoging the ball themselves as well as Crawford trying to get his shots. And nobody playing any defense because they are all pissed that they aren't getting there shots. Why play defense when you can't get you shots on offense is going to be the complaint.

This also forces Lee to play more mins at SF which puts him more in a position of weakness plus there is the fact that Richardson, Balkman, Jefferies, Wilson Chandler all plays the same position.

The trade proves that Isiah's decision making the past 2 yrs have been horrible. If this were the case then I would have preferd if we drafted Bynum & Lee, & kept our 2 lotto picks & avoided James & Curry. We would be a way better built team in the same period of time then currently constructed and Bynum has Crazy value around the league right now. Then there is the fact that Isiah admitted that the reason why he didn't draft Marcus Williams was because he wasn't prepared for him to fall that far. Its one thing if he valued Balkman & Collins over Williams(which I thought was the case) but to not take Williams because you weren't prepared isn't acceptable. But I can't complain to much since Balkman & Collins could be solid players.

We sign Jerome James to 5yrs full mid level then have been trying to trade him for the past 2 since he sucks. Sign Jerad Jefferies then try and trade him the following offseason because he stunk.

In terms of value we came out good on this trade since this is the best we could as for for Francis & I talent wise I would take Randolph of Frye any day of the week. But the problem is I have lost all faith in Isiah being cappable of building a team. I was hoping he would at least learn from his mistakes and right the ship but I don't see that happening.

All I could hope for is that this trade was made to get KG in the future. Randolph might have a lot of apeal to Wolves add in a couple of other pieces and maybe we could get a deal done. Then I could see Isiah's line of thinking. But knowing our luck Randolph is going to be such a poor fit in NY that he loses all his trade value and we end up stuck with him & his contract.

As for Wilson Chandler I read that he has a tremendous amount of potential. He has great size & athletism with a developing perimeter game. With more hard work on his perimeter game he could be a stud so Im kind of excited for this pick.

There is like a billion other Anti-Randolph threads was this one necessary. Your rant isn't anymore special other than Option 3.

You are exactly right NewYorkNewYork, I've been harping on this point since I saw the trade was official in various posts. Great post.

You guys have to be seriously crazy. You have a guy who is and allstar and is 25yrs. He have one of the sweetest lefty strokes out there, be it fade away or straight one. He is a great rebounder and plays hard. What the hell did we give up for him. Nothing. With his outside shot and feeding down low to Eddie who are you going to double now. Guys look at the big picture sometime and get out of the peanut world.

We're crazy? So please enlighten us as to why the Blazers stopped building around this guy since he's 25 years old with such a sweet lefty stroke.

I think you need to look at the WHOLE picture instead of only focusing on this guys offense because that is only small facet of Zach Randolph, the rest of him is a complete mess.
