We need Defense in the frontcourt and on the perimeter more than ever. JC plays no D. JJ2 is just a liability on O. While Balkman and Chandler aren't ready offensively. Its good we got some expiring contracts. Send Jones/Dickau/Morris for Artest. Add a #1 is necesary.


Curry
Zack
Artest (defense)
Richardson (defense)
Marbury (defense)

Mardy, Balkman, JC, and Lee your fan favorites off the bench.

Thats not a bad 9 man rotation to go to war with in the Eastern Conference.

i don't think we can trade Dickau or Jones as part of a trade for just 1 player, only as individuals on an even up 1 for 1 type deal within the 48 hour period... at least, that's how i understood the stipulations.

I don't know if Artest will still be available in 60 days. Maybe try and get Ron for some other pieces. Malik Rose and a #1?

Jefferies, Turd, Mardy & Nate for Ron Artest.. that at least offsets some of the added cap he just took on, for the '09 season anyway.

C - Curry / Morris
PF - Zach / Lee
SF - Artest / Balk / Chandler
SG - Q Rich / Craw / Jones
PG - Marbs / Dickau
IR - Malik

Decent team balance & we are a much more physical team than last season.

Not that it adds any more emotional stability, but Randolph on Pistons might work.

because sheed is up in two years, and you save salary, add a good defender that can space the floor, doesn't turn it over and can block shots and would be much better next to eddy

a trade of crawford, morris for artest work and would solve defensive needs and get rid of another contract.....

those two deals should take place

I like the Wallace trade but not so much the Artest trade. I don't think the Crawford trade works, he actually make more money than Artest and they just drafted a project big man.

Yea i was really shocked that they didn't take julian wright big mistake, would have been good to open things up for an artest trade
