Can David still average 30 mins a game? He is a proven talent and he now solidifies his spot as the sixth man.

Starters guess
Marbury 35 mins
Crawford 40 mins
Q Rich 30 mins
Randolph 35 mins
Curry 35 mins

Lee ??
Jeffries ??
Balkman ??
Collins ??
Nate ??

I think Lee has to get traded. There's not enough minutes to go around. Zack and Lee can't play major minutes on the court together and Lee can't play SF.

He has to play at the 3. Or he's gonna get traded for Rashard Lewis.

I don't think Lee is going to get traded. I think he will continue his role as sixth man because I am sure that Curry and Randolph will be in constant foul trouble. The approach could be hack as much as possible and see what you can get away with.

they kept showing lee at the draft- and once the trade was announced, I'm not sure if he was smiling or laughing- but I was thinking- he's days are numbered!

I don't see where lee fits in. Zach and Curry get 35 mins a night. That leaves 26 minutes.

Lee can't play at the 3 unless he has developed a tremendous mid range/3pt shot.

I think Isiah can use this as an excuse to move lee.

You cant play Lee at the 3 because he cant guard them. Isiah just have to find a way to get these guys minutes or there is another trade.

I don't know, Thomas turned down MJ for Craw and Lee for the 8th pick. Now that the Bobcats sent that to GS, I believe that offer. I think he likes Lee coming off the bench as his sixth man which is now seen as a bad thing in today's NBA.

Zach will likely avg just a few less minutes on this team, but there will be minutes for Lee. When Curry goes to the bench Lee will likely slide to PF and Zach to Center. The Knicks will just go smaller. Balkman and Mardy will likely also see minutes as a high energy unit. I'm not sure why anyone is worrying about this. Over the course of a season the minutes have a way of balancing out. The best players will find a way to play and Lee is one of our best players.
Curry, Zach, Lee, Jared and Morris is the likely pecking order in terms of bigs we have.

As might as well offer Lee in a package for Kirilenko now since Lee won't have a major role here.

David Lee will get 20 inutes a night. Zach and Curry will play 60 minutes combined and the need to get some defense on the floor when on of them are on the bench will increase Rose/JJ/JJ2 minutes ate the Four and five. THIS IS THE WORST TRADE POSSIBLE.
