I don't know if this has been asked,but I have a question.

Is there a difference between a franchise player and a superstar?
It's funny how this whole world is based on one dummy controlling another, and the leader dummy was chosen by a whole bunch of dummies.

A Franchise player is supposed to represent a lot more than a SuperStar. You can add a guy like Ray Allen to Paul Pierce and say you have two Superstars... but if anything Al Jeff is their franchise player.

The Knicks can start talking about the Stars they have, but is there one non-flawed one to build a franchise around?
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

And tell me why is Jefferson is the Franchise player? The Franchise was losing game after game while he was the man. Everyone said it was because Pierce was out. LOL. I guess a Franchise player is just a player who you want to call a Franchise player apparently.

What? The guys still on his rookie contract. He is an emerging franchise player that the Celts refused to part with and other teams were demanding.

And that is what you think that makes a franchise player? BTW, Ainge had no trouble putting him in a deal to get KG. Pierce on the other hand was the guy he didn't want to let go. So you better tell Danny that Jefferson is his franchise guy and not Pierce because he sure isn't acting like it.

Whatever man. Way to hijack the thread. I was using him as an example. Perhaps the example isn't to your liking but it was to talk about the difference between a "NAME" SuperStar and a Franchise player. An Anchor.
