The Lakers have offered Andrew Bynum, Lamar Odom and another minor player for Garnett, the Times reported, citing unnamed sources. But Timberwolves general manager Kevin McHale wants a draft pick higher than the Lakers' No. 19, plus young talent, the Times reported.

what on earth is bynum? isn't he a young talent who could turn into a dominant big man?

Perhaps they can three way with boston & send Lamar to the celts- then the five pick to minny.

Wolves have no choice. And Lakers too.
This is the deal which will probably go.
Can KG and Kobe coexist? This is a question.
But this is powerful duo. Imagine how much they can drop on team like Knicks. Two killers.

I would want Farmer and an unprotected 2008 pick also. If the Lakers agreed to that, Minny should take the deal. They can then trade Odom to a team like the Knicks and get even more young assets.

I cannot see why Lakers will reject it.
