K.G. wants to stay and the Wolves are looking into acquiring Artest. K.G. wants to give the team another shot at adding pieces.

I'm not believing anything. I'll wait to see what transpires between now and the end of the draft.

Adding Artest changes nothing. Minny will not get to the WCF let alone win a championship. Might even miss the playoffs in the stacked WEST.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

Weird move. He'd rather play with Artest than Kobe? Hmmm.

It'd only be a matter of time before KG ripped Kobe's head off for not passing the rock.

True, good stance to have but KFAN is the flagship station up there and for the most part are pretty reliable with their sources. This report is more than likely 90% true.

It has nothing to do with the reliability of the reporting party, but everything to do with the fact that teams are going to use every bit of leverage that they have and turn the screws in order to make the best deal possible.

Not every GM caves in on trades like Isiah, even when they desperately want a certain player.

That applies to every player not named K.G. and Kobe. If K.G. says he wants to stay Wolves ain't trading him, it would be sac religious. So IMO it gets down to if K.G. has said this or feels this way and I'm 90-100% sure he has. He's probably the most loyal athlete in the history of sports. I also find it comical how fans have bashed Mchale for not letting K.G. off the chain and out of the yard now he finally appears to be doing so and the dog won't go anywhere. I better not hear anymore fans say Mchale has held him hostage, that's for sure.

he probably does not like the teams he would be going to. He said he wants to play for the suns. Maybe, he will just stay and opt-out. Now Minny has the moral issue of trading him when he says he wants to stay.

Well, either the wolves are at the door, or the suns are going down. Not sure which.

the deal that was mentioned elsewhere on the board was minny getting 4 picks from the suns and celtics- if that is real, then minny is stupid because adding artest doesn't help- they might not make the 8 seed in the west- they have a chance to sell high and get some decent chips for him-

K.G is screwing McHale worse than Mchale can screw himself. Theres no one for them to add that can make them a contender in the west next year. By keeping K.G one more yr devalues the prospects Minny can get back in a trade because K.G will be in the final year of his contract. Whose giving up top prospects for one year rental?
