All of the guys with their heads up--the ball moves briskly and effeciently to the open man--guys are adept at the mid-range J. Almost looks like a hockey power play when they are in the halfcourt set. Good D with a lot of feet moving a lot of defensive fundamentals, never overextending--getting on the boards--that was one heckuva team.

Now imagine all of that combined with the athleticsm of today and you'll understand why those guys are so revered. If they had the same training techniques, use of instant video, supplements, etc...I take all of that into account when I compare players from different eras.
