Report: Kobe meets with Buss in Spain, demands trade

Lakers All-Star Kobe Bryant has demanded a trade again, according to reports in the Riverside (Calif.) Press Enterprise. Citing league sources, the report said Bryant met with Lakers owner Jerry Buss in Spain and was adamant about his request.
Bryant has played all of his 11 seasons in the NBA with the Lakers, the team that acquired him from Charlotte in a draft-day trade in 1996. He teamed with Shaquille O'Neal to win championships with the Lakers in 2000, 2001 and 2002.
This season, Bryant led the league in scoring in the regular season (31.6 points per game) and the playoffs (32.8 ppg), though the Lakers were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs in a five-game series vs. Phoenix.
Bryant has grown frustrated over the past month about the state of the Lakers, and said May 30 on ESPN Radio that he would like to be traded. He then backed off the request after meeting with coach Phil Jackson
