the articles i've read mention the fact that lebron, dwade and howard will definately not come back in exchange for kobe and i agree about lebron and dwight. if i was pat riley though and IF i could convince shaq and kobe to play nice i would strongly consider trading dwade for kobe and either kwame and/or farmar. first of all i'd argue that kobe is better than wadein basically all aspects aside from not being a "nice guy" and being older, while wade is slightly more injury prone as he's coming off multiple surgeries this off season. wade's value seems to be higher so the heat could pry loose a guy to help at one of the positions at which they badly need it, pg and center. Like i said, it'd really have everything to do w/ shaq and kobe playing well together again but i think that at this point both are mature enough to do it. Then it becomes an issue of trading one starter for one who is arguably equally as good or better and a solid backup w/ potential to start.

why? you think they can't play together or you think wade's value is so much higher? i think kobe is just as good, and that the two of them could work it out, and work together again. i also think that miami's pg situation is absolutely horrible w/ the injuries to payton (who's a fa anyway) and jwill who's washed up at this point. zo and shaq are getting old at this point and some frontcourt relief would be welcome as well.
