Wouldn't it be great if he opted out of his contract and went back to the Spurs this Summer

If we trade Lee and Frye to get Kobe, Malik would be our starting PF.

Well he's mentioned too in every trade; I just forgot to list him above. Really Malik would be our only PF.

There's other options before rose for sure.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

I'm in no hurry to dump the guy just because he's a bench player. Rose was good with the lobs to Curry at the end of the year. He can stay for another couple years and mentor the kids. A good guy to have on the team to keep everyone honest and accountable. And best of all, his contract is short. If anything, try and move some other SF like JJ who doesn't seem to do anything of value on a consistent basis, which you expect from a vet. Malik is the master of the dirty tricks. He has some game. JJ is a mess. He needs to be coddled or something.

But Malik is not in sync with what NY is.
He is solid player who used to play in a system. We are messy bunch running all over the place.
He will use any opportunity to get out.

Rose opting out...you know I wouldn't be surprised if he did. I can see him valuing a happy experience over money.
