How about we just keep him. He is young and has proven that he can hit pressure shots. He makes his mistakes but thats just Jamal. I was speaking to a Cav fan and he said this to me about Jamal. Out of seven games, Jamal will play well in about 5 of those games, the other 2 he will just terrible. That's just Jamal, live with it. He is good talent, you only trade him if you are getting somebody really good in return.
Sometimes you have take a step back and read what your writing. You want to send him to another team where he can flourish and do all these spectacular things and excel. Why do we want to get rid of him when it's clear that he has an upside ? The team is heading is that direction, where ? A direction where he will get open shots, one where he doesn't have to carry a team. My vote is to keep him, unless a franchise talent comes along.
No- he is good to great in 2 out of 10. He is horrid in 3- and the other five he is ok.
He should not be a starter on any NBA team. He would flourish off the bench for a team that doesn't depend on him to produce.
No pressure to perform=less bad shots
when he is having a brick filled game, he goes back to the bench- and he finishes the game 3 for 9 instead of 4 for 24 like he has with us.
And when he is hot a feeling it, where he is unconscious, the team can just let him stay out there.
