NBa is gettig younger with more and more focus on young stars.
Plyers approching 30 are considered old.
NBA became close to College league looking on players maturity state and big $$$ contracts do not maing things better but coaches are still coaching like they have all grown man on the teams.
NBA need more mentor style coaches... may be recrute some from College leagues.
Any thoughts?

Coaches seem to be getting younger too, or at least that was the trend for a while. A lot of recently retired players. Most of the coaches have had very mixed results.

For a while the old guys like larry, hubie brown, Fratellos come back, seemed to be a nice short term solution. For mature guys like lebron there are Sh!theads like JR smith who are very immature.

I don't know if there is a single preference. Maybe having lifestyle mentor "Coaches" to help the guys grow up maybe the way to go. Some players will get it and succeed, others will arrogantly do what they want to do anyway.
