Definately not Yao Ming. He has way more athleticism.

The key with Jianlian is his age. If he is really only 19 then the sky is the limit. If he is 21, then he still has a lot of potential because his actual basketball age is still young, but not as much. The way I look at it is if he is 19 then he probably has the basketball IQ of maybe a 17 year old American player. That puts him right there with the best players in his basketball age, but it also means it will take him a few years before he is ready. I say if he is 20 by the end of the year, a year in the NBA would have him about as ready as a rookie out of HS for his second season. If he is 21, then he probably has the basketball IQ of a senior in HS, and while that still puts him among the better 18 year olds in America, it doesn't make him dominant.

Not bad for a 28 yr old.

I really like what i see in this kids skills, its so hard to draft someone like this with a horford on the board or somoene that has proven themselves in college, i hope to god he does not drop to the bulls......
Going to beat a lot of big guys off the dribble I don't know if Atlanta gamles there |
