Crawford, who had a stress fracture in his right ankle, is fully recovered and playing again in his hometown, Seattle. Lee, who had an injury to his right leg, has been working out daily at the Knicks’ training center in Greenburgh, N.Y., and “looks good,” Thomas said. Richardson, he added, is on track in his recovery from back surgery.

Jamal Crawford scored 54 on Nate Robinson out in a pickup game in Seattle.

“Nate said he had a tough time guarding Jamal,” Thomas said. “He said that he was close enough to him, but Jamal kept shooting right over the top of him, and I said, ‘That sounds familiar, Nate.’ ”

For the record, Robinson got 50 in that game.

Jamal is going to recover completely and come back next year the same flawed player he was when he got hurt.
