I not quite ready to say fire isiah, but I am ready to burn 4 guys off the roster as soon as its officially allowed to do so.

Isiah needs to waive Jerome James. What is the point of having him around? To foul curry in practice? Come one now. He just has to go. No need on keeping him as an expiring asset. Fuck that **** already.

Janet was Jared jefferies real name before the sex change. If they thought about waiving Francis, then just eat this guys contract. Fuck it. It was a mistake.

After you waive those bastards, trade Francis and marbs to whoever wants them.

I truly believe clevland could benifit from having Francis on the roster. Francis know how to get his. That's their whole problem. Nobody on that team can get their **** off except lebron. With Francis doing his own thing it will make things easier for that team. Lebron dribbles to much. If another dude is doing some dribbling and driving it just causes havok. Clevland just has to trade their bad contracts like newble, snow or whatever it takes to make it work.

Trade marbs to whoever as well. How bout Houston? Adelman needs a point. T-Mac needs a guy that can play with him. Yao needs a dude that can give him easy baskets. They need that drive ability that marbs has. Its just a must. Besides that, this would be the first time in marbs career where he is the 3rd option and is truly not the best player on his team. He won't be alone anymore. Again however this gets done, **** it just do it.

That's it!

The knicks should get an extra draft pick somewhere after trading marbs and Francis. They would have to waive more players but they could actually pick and choose who fits and just go from there.

I believe with Nate, craw, and Collins the knicks are the same without Franbury. There is no change. It might even be better. The knicks hopefully will have drafted that extra backcourt player.

Who knows maybe the old saying that teams get better after marbs and Francis is traded will work for the knicks.

Isiah won't do this but anybody wanna entertain this topic?

You think Cleveland would do Hughes & Varejao for Francis & Frye? They may be think that they need better offensive players to pair with LeBron. And as much as I hate Francis, he does have some talent. And clearly, Frye is better offensively than Varejao.

why do it? hughes sucks and is injured and has more years left, we are stuck with these guys for two more years, if we are getting rid of frye he needs to be packaged with q, craw, jj1 or 2. This is exactly why isiah is horrific as a gm......

We shouldn't have the following on the team JJ1 & 2 and Francis.....Still didn;t like the Q deal because Kurt would have been a nice expiring contract which it looks like a few people want this season.

We need to stand tight and not make trades, just to make them Mo Taylor and Malik, its hard to stress how bad isiah has been with his moving and shaking...

I don't mind having Marbury around for another year or 2 if he plays and ACTS the way he did this past season, but Francis is a different story. He's just a bad bball player and needs to go. I don't care how we jetison him. He needs to go away, as does Jerome and preferable Jefferies. Q is unreliable so he possibly needs out too, but I'll be OK if he stays.

Hughes sucks a whole lot more when you actually look at what your doing

Francis two years left 16.4million 17.1mill (yes the US is a terrible country)

The Cavs front loaded his deal which is smart, but he we would be on the hook for 13.6 the year after steve would dissapear which means, larry would be a back up as would Crawford in terms of quality and you would be paying two guys 22 million for minimal upside

1st of all James is a marginal player and tho I hate that he's eating up cap space and a roster spot, there are teams with garbage at the end of the bench and we're no different.

Francis just needs to be bought out already. I can't see how any of this is gonna work with him around again next year and the year after. I think Isiah is only holding out to see if there's a trade scenario. To make a trade for a bigtime player you might need the salary to make a match along with cheaper young players.

Steph just turned 30 in Feb. and he could easily play 4 more years in increasingly fewer minutes. Soon we can turn the team over to younger players like Mardy. In the meantime he's still a formidable player as he showed late this year. Eric Snow is still out there with his slow butt, Nash and Kidd are both older than Steph. The key is having a good backup or young player to take over. Even this older version of Steph is better than most of the guards in the league.

Francis and Jerome ought to be waved as they have ZERO trade value.

Jeffries has a little value. I don't care if he's traded or not.

Marbs and Q should stay if for no other reason that they won't return much in a trade and we need these two-way guys.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

Well keep in mind that the knicks would have to waive Jared and big game.

Trade 1:
Francis and channing for donyell, snow, newble and Shannon brown

With this trade the knicks can opt to keep snow around to mentor Collins. Shannon brown is a good young player and probably would get in the rotation. Donyell and Ira newble could get waived or maybe the knicks can get a resigned varejo instead. The knicks want the cavs to make this deal so they can't be too greedy.

Trade 2:
Marbs to Houston for Howard, rafer, sura and Snyder. Howard can instantly become Lee's backup. Rafer probably would fight Collins to start and Snyder can join the youth brigade. He is actually a nice player. Sura of course would get waived. Maybe the knicks could get battier instead of Howard. If Houston could trade Howard and their pick for artest maybe they would ship battier in this trade.

Knicks roster:
Lee/howard/rose
Q/balkman/ Snyder
Curry/Morris
Collins/rafer/snow
Craw/Nate/Shannon

The knicks might be able to snag varejo and battier instead of Howard, newble and marshall.

I think Clev would trade Hughes for Francis in a heartbeat. Hughes is overpaid and is owed like 4 more years on his contract. Francis sucks too but at least he will consistently score (which they need) and has only 2 years left on his deal. But we don't need hughes. He cannot shoot the 3 and is constantly hurt.

I think a better deal might be for the cavs to resign Varejo and then trade us Varejo and Snow for Francis and Frye. They get better offensively and we get better defensively.

Francis is just a good fit for clevland anyway you slice it. Knicks will take snow with no problem so clevland could flip Hughes for someone else via trade if they want.

As far as houston, T-Mac, yao, and marbs make for a decent top three. Houston could still work it out where they could still be in play for artest. Artest, T-Mac, marbs and yao is money in the bank especially with adelman coaching.

Looking at it from the other teams point of view I can't see why they wouldn't make these trades.
