Personally, I like Crawford. But I see I'm in the minority. Let's say he is a pawn to aquire Rasheed Wallace or Ron Artest. This obviously leaves a hole at the 2 guard. I don't believe Q Rich is a full time solution due to injury concerns & also their accrued effects on his explosiveness (even if he does make it back from back surgery).I certainly don't believe in Stevie Franchise-killer, who in my opinion, is one of the dumbest players I have ever seen. He also is a horrible fit with a lineup that features Marbury & Curry.

So, let's say we make one of those two trades (preferably Wallace). In the draft, we're looking at Almond, Bellini, Fernandez (assuming Stuckey & Young are gone). What are your thoughts on the potential of these 3 playing significant minutes in their 1st year. Almond is clearly a shooter extraordinare. Not sure about defense, ability to get to the hoop. Bellini is very intriguing. Good shooter, good athlete, polished & used as a defensive stopper on his current team. Fernandez I know least about. Is the Ginobilli comparison in the ballpark.

I'd like input on Arron Affaolo as well.

Almond is a great shooter and a good rebounder. He is a big and strong SG, but right now is only an average defender. He is not overly quick but his outside shot helps cover this a bit. He is probably the most NBA ready of the three.

Belinelli is another great shooter who seems like he has endless range. He has good quickness and very good handle. He is a very good passer for a SG and plays some point for his current team. He is not strong enough on the defensive end right now and needs to improve on that side of the ball. He has the quickness to be a good defender. He can contribute right away but isnt as ready as Almond in my opinion.

The Fernandez-Ginobilli comparison is a good one. He can shoot, pass, and handle the ball. He is a bit of a combo guard and is a very good athlete. Like Belinelli he needs to get sronger on the defensive end. He is a polished player and should be able to contribute offensivly right away.

All three would be solid picks. In terms of how they fit on this roster, Iwould rank them.

Almond
Belinelli
Fernandez

Anyone who can do one thing above average can get minutes. Almond will find a way to get on the floor year one. I only know what they say about Bellinelli- which is that he can shoot. Fernandez- is he gonna stay in this time? People are all over the map on him- might be a lot of flash and not much substance.

I still want to draft Nick Young. Does everything pretty well.

He reminds me of a tad skinnier version of Richard Jeffereson that's why i think there is no shot he is there @ 23. I think he'll end up in the lottery.

Crawford is not my least-favorite Knick.
