Kids have fallen off counter tops at a younger age and have turned out fine.
Football hits sometimes look worse than they are and this seems to be the case. Kids usually cry from embarrasment, not taking away from the gymnast flip on the head.

This is what I don't like about videos and stuff like this. You don't get to find out what happened. What happened to the kid? I would have him or her examined in case any serious damage occurred.
