Saw an interesting interview on the Charlie Rose show. He had Carl Berstein on, talking about the book 'A Woman In Charge'. Things I did not know about Hillary. His book basically talks about how she needs to be real about her self. I thought it was a very interesting interview. Sometimes I wish Charlie would just let his guests talk.

Has Charlie ever had 'Bill Oh Really' on his show?

Well, she did run the country for eight years already.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Its ok Martin, izybx apparently already scouted the field of nominees and knows best. It really makes me laugh when some idiot who has not bothered to research one issue goes off repeating some crap his buddy told him and tries to looks smart by say bashing Bush. How many people can actually say why they say they hate Bush? There are plenty of reasons, but nowadays its a fad. Same with Clinton. But hey, let me buy a Che tshirt even though I probably have no idea who the guy was and how many people he killed in the process of his "freedom fighting" to fit in with the crowd. Unbelievable.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

Well' for starters, she did go from 50 something % of winning the first time, to 70 something % of winning the second time. There's so much to this woman and the story of her and Bill. Since last month, she's increased her lead not only over the Republican candidates, but the Democrats as well. And we aren't even halfway through 2007 yet. She is clearly the front runner. The book that Bernstein wrote, exploits something that she's starting to address and needs to get more into, if she is to give the public a clear option. People want clarity and Carl has raised the question. If she pretends it does not exist, then her opponents will eventually rip into her as the campaign continues on. Her experience is tremendous. Clearly the public wants a substancial change in 2008, and it isn't going to be a Republican again. As I thought eventually, George and his gang set them so far back, it's laughable. She is just one step away from coming off as sincere (I mean really sincere) and with the success of the first time in office, a lot of people really liked what the Clintons brought to the White House. She is also just one Bill Clinton fooling around away from being elected. She is leading everyone in the polls, I'm not kidding! If you take Bills infidelity away, she would clearly be the choice. Bernstein also pointed out the fact of why Gore may of lost his bid in 2000. And any of you can varify this also. When he ran, he came off the same way. Insincere! Now people look at what he's been doing since he left and he's gained a tremendous amount of respect, because?......you guessed it, he stopped pretending. This is what Hillary has to do. Carl has also made the point that if Gore were to decide to run, then it's a whole new ballgame. The man would be able to raise more than enough money in no time, if he decided to run. Personally, I like Gore right were he is. A respected public figure.

Why take a chance on going out looking like an idiot like michael jordan. He looked terrible when he tried to come back and everyone got the last laugh on him.

Just because I didn't feel like writing an essay right before I went to work doesn't make me an idiot, and the fact that I don't like Bush doesn't mean Im repeating "something my buddy told me". I don't like Hillary because I feel shes unqualified and phony, in addition to the fact that I am a social conservative and dissagree with most of her views. If you cant handle that I dont agree with you, then dont even respond, I dont see the point of getting all pissed off on a chat board over politics and calling people idiots while crying like a baby about how unbelievable it is. Just relax buddy, these chat boards arent real life. Theres no need to get all worked up.

And how do you know that I havent researched any issues? How do you know that I cant articulate why I dont like Bush? Since I voted for him twice Im willing to bet I have some solid reasons. Do you?

Your comment just struck as something a person I described would make. I'm sure you have run into many like these. If you are not like that, than don't take offense. I was not really mad at you or the post, just venting on something that I'v ran into a couple of times recently.

This guy Obama' his true colors are starting to surface. He's trying to be too perfect with a past that is just starting to be exposed.

Here's an article that most of the country does not know about. The Feds in chicago are about to have one of it's biggest trials regarding mob ties to a guy by the name of Tony Rezko. One of Obama's biggest fundraisers. For those of you who didn't know, Obama is from Chicago.

Most people would think these things small time, and they are (as a private citizen), but for a guy who is running on a squeeky clean back ground, what would it mean if he were to become President, handling billion dollar budgets?
