About four years ago, when they started to mess with him and push him down in the line-up, to be replaced by bums like Giambi, Sheffield and A-Rod, that's when he started to have his biggest problems. It wasn't because the guy couldn't hit anymore. It was a matter of pride that got to him. After everything Bernie did for the Yankees, they just pushed him to the side. With A-Rod, Sheffield and Giambis combined under .200 batting average throughout three consecutive playoffs, it only goes to show what happens when you dis your biggest clean-up hitter. Those three clowns made rediculous amounts of money and for what? Bernie did it all, when he was batting clean-up and helped the Yankees win four World Series. I don't know. You guys tell me I'm wrong, despite the evidence looking you right in the face. Bernie Williams should never' have been pushed to the side, I really don't blame him for not coming back. He should've, could've had 300 and more home runs in his career as a Yankee and it's just a damn shame he didn't get that chance to finish it. Now don't go telling me that it is the pitching on this team. It's a combination of both the defense and offense. George should be ashamed of himself for letting Cashman push Bernie out of the line-up and eventually off this team. Bernie did not deserve to have to earn' his way back onto this team, through the minors. I'm glad Giambi's been exposed again and now where is he to be found again? Not to mention Giambi and Sheffield were found out about the steroids thing. Bernie never took steroids. The man barely hit over 30 home runs a season, when he got that far. We had that big clown Johnson who can't throw worth a damn any more and now we have that big phony dork A-Rod who can't carry this team either. Bernie and company were it. Non controversial, non steroid, professional in every way and they won four rings as a team. Baseball and today's Yankees are a disgrace! Guys like Bernie, Captain O'Neal, Mo and Jeets were the last of the true Yankees. Where the last of true baseball players. Hats off to them and off with those other bums heads!
