yeah I have to admit going into the playoffs I was rooting for them, both good guys, but Webber seemed kind of like an a-hole in some of the interviews. what's Webber's contract? maybe he will abandon ship and try to head West to a contender? I'd say this was his last realistic shot at a title but I wouldn't be surprised if a team like Dallas would be willing to take him to play limited mins or something likethat

good for their A$$es! Webber had that chance vs. the LAkers in the Western Conf. FInals where game 7 was in Sacremento and he blew his chance.

Mcdyess and Webber will never get a ring. It's over for them.

You can combine both players and still wouldn't be able to get two decent knees.

Bums playing on a good team. They go as the team go. Nothing more.

I still love C-Webb. Shoulda been a knick 10 years ago.

You know I wouldn't mind this guy finishing off his career in ny. Freakin guy can still play but he's not a starter anymore.

Hold up, on one thread you say "Billups is too old" but "Webber can still play?"

Are the other 6,754 other posts of yours similar to these?

And change your sig -- people might confuse your wpost with mines.

webber and dice at this point in their careers are fringe role players, dice has more gas in the tank than webber, and as we suspected with webber even since he joined the sixers, his knees are completely shot. Maybe webber should have joined the cavs.....hehehe

McDyess and Webber are the nicest frontcourt players in the league on defense.

C-Webb, not really... he's not a bad guy, but he's come up short in many big situations so it's on him.

McDyess, yes... First he was a Knick, that was treated terribly by Isiah before he was traded. Additionally, he was super explosive, but that was highly reduced by his micro-fracture surgery, much like CWebb's.

But I was rooting for the Cavs. The Pistons bore me without Big Ben.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

I agree, but when Laydumb burned the cap, Chris wasn't going to play for no exception, that's for sure and his father told him to 'go west young man' and he did. I still remember how it all went down.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Webb and rashweed turned toxic together.

Lack of leadership on defense with Big Ben gone.

Flip sucks for that team. Pretenders since Larry left. He was good for them and them good for him.

You read what you want to read.

I said chancey is still good just like Ben was, but it makes more sense to let chancey go rather than pay him what he is now worth. Yeah cuz chancey is over 30. It would be good business not to invest all that money on a player at this stage in the game.

As far as webber, I just like him. I also said webber isn't a starter anymore.

So what is it that you want from me? I believe the show "read to achieve" still comes on PBS. If you have trouble, there is no shame in using your finger or a pen to make sure you don't skip a line.

All you gotta do is toss a match into the bathroom while I'm taking a dump. Chances are you and everyone in a 2-3 block radius is going down with me.

First and formost they can't re-sign chancey. He is an older player now and on the downside of his career, just like big Ben.

^^Enyspree's exact words.

Actually, you were making a negative comment toward Chauncey Billups and Big Ben -- a claim that you later make a feeble attempt to "cover up" in a later post giving Ben Wallace his props.

Then I ran across another thread where you were giving Webber credit for still having the ability to play -- even though his knees are gone and he is clearly on the downside of his career. Unlike Big Ben or Billups.

Now, my thing is, how can you have the audacity to give props to CWebb for still having the ability to play while basically making absurd remarks about the solid NBA season that both Billups and Wallace are coming off of?

Then you come back with a girlish "you read what you want to read" comment while irresponsibly stating my need to "read to acheive" as if you, ahem, have made your point.

Dude, you are a dumbasz.

So therefore,

Pimpin aint easy so I guess you gotta result to stalk me.

I know I did "type" that c-Webb should have been a knick 10 years ago and that I wouldn't mind having him even though he wasn't a starter anymore.

Care to find that post and chew it up?

I didn't bash chancey saying he was washed up, it was more like saying Detroit shouldn't put the farm on him so they won't handcuff themselves.

How deep does this rabit hole go?

exactly. webber did have his chance and he messed it up. as far as dyess goes, he wanted to ride the coattails of the champions when he signed in 04, thinking he would get a championship. you got what he deserves. i like dyess even before he was a knick now i am indifferent. it is a shame what happened to his career though. at his best he was amare stoudamire on his way to greatness.
