According to Johnathan Givony from Draft Express, the Knicks are offering either Jamal Crawford or Channing Frye and Malik Rose for Ron Artest

I could see us adding Artest and Carter in the same summer. They're Dolan and Isiah's idea of franchise players.

Not for nothing... I think this trade would make sense for NYK. Don't really see why Sacramento would want Jamal Crawford when they have two decent YOUNG 2 guards in Kevin Martin and Francisco Garcia.

I tried the trade checker... and the Rose/Frye deal didn't work.. Switched Rose for Jeffries and the deal went through?

Follow up this w/ an offer for any of the "rumored" available big's like... Pau Gasol, Kevin Garnett, Jermaine O'neal, Zach Randolph and we'd be in good shape. Marbury or Francis plus David Lee and #23pick for Jermaine O'neal is a start

hahaha RETARDED... wow, that's pretty extreme... OK why do you think that it's retarded?

In my opinion it makes a ton of sense! Artest is regarded as one of the better two way players in this league. He adds something that we haven't had since Oakley, toughness and a certified lock down defensive presence. Yeah he has the potential to snap, but he still would be a good fit for NYK. Did I mention that we could use a starting caliber small forward.

Getting a BIG would be huge for this team, especially if it's a big that can compliment Eddy Curry. Shot Blocking, Defensive minded, plus a polished low post scorer on the block.

I'd do that Channing trade in a second if I were Sac-Town. You have to figure that with that team, you could put Frye at the pivot and allow space for Martin and Bibby to slash through the D.

No excuses for Marbs if he's trotting onto the court with Artest, Q, Rashard and Curry.

The D would zone up on Curry and just hope the rest of these guys didn't get hot from outside.
