I don't think she is right all over but the brain washing made this nation ignorant to gigantig extend.
I have no problems with "American Idol" and stuff but we became so hated around the world that soon I will need to hide that I am American and tell the people while travelling that I am Russian, Latvian, even Jew (and this is all true) and I will be better off... Sad...

It took 14 years and countless young men and women to tell the American public that Vietnam conflict may have been a mistake. We underestimated the Cong and that trend continues. Despite all training American soldiers are still ill equip to fight guerrilla warfare. No organized government is capable of truly fighting these type of wars. Organized wars are constructed as victory battles. Guerrilla warfare does not allow you to truly claim victory. You hit and run to hit and run another day. It is sad that the generals seem to be just learning this. Fighting enemies that have an endless recruitment drive. Having to constantly retake regions that you thought you conquered previously. Fighting enemies that you thought were people who you thought were previously protecting. Second this is a civil war. It is immoral for any foreign government to actively participate in a country civil war as defined by President Lincoln during America's civil war in reference to France and England. It did not work in Korea or Vietnam why in the world would it work in Iraq.

You know very well that our soldiers are in Iraq to protect the pipe. Nobody in clear mind (and believe me our neo-conservatives and generals have very clear mind) can believe that we can control Iraq, Afghanistan, or any other country for that matter. But we can allow the oil to flow into the tankers and money to flow into the pockets.
Is it worth 4 thousands lives, tens of thousands handicapped, hundred thousand depressed, and billions of taxpayers’ money? This is what WE must to figure out to still have some self-respect as a free people. And each person must answer this question to himself and vote accordingly. Unfortunately this is only one choice we have. We should not do it wrong again. And we have nobody to blame for the previous blunders by ourselves

actually afghanistan isn't in as big a mess as Iraq is. army SFs pushed most of the taliban into the mountains within a matter of months, and there wasn't as much conflict because they spent so much time building report with the people and the army got a lot of support from the afghani resistance. you go to someone's market every day and buy something from him, one day he tells you someone he doesn't know came through here and where he went. turns out that guy was a taliban soldier. you capture him. he leads you to a large weapons cache in a nearby village and so on. this is how they surgically drove the taliban out of parts of Afghanistan and once the people reject their culture (which the country is split over; many want to shed themselves of the taliban culture, obviously women, but others are afraid the taliban might come back) it's over. the problem is that karzai basically got no support from the US government, they ditched him after he was instituted so they could focus on Iraq, so instead of going into the right country (Afghanistan) and fully going after Osama and the people responsible for 9/11 we are half-committed to Afghanistan while we completely fudge Iraq for no reason.

We were OK when we played their game - bride Pustuni warlords and let them plant as much drugs as they want. Now when people start question why drugs export from Afghanistan increased 80% in last 2 years and who is getting the money and we start pushing the guy like Hekmatiar to play the game the way we want we lost almost all ground.
Afghanistan was never controlled by anybody starting with Alexander the Great who get his ass kicked, then Britain lost all their army but 3 soldiers, then Soviet Union get 30000 soldiers killed not talking about 1 mil of Afghani people in 10 years war and was finally kicked out, so US is next...
We never learn on other countries mistakes, and on our own also.
Only moron can even think about controlling this people.

And let's not get into the security frauds that were wiped out when Tower 7 collapse after an airplane hit it.

Oh, that's right, no airplane hit that particular tower.

Hmm.

People, people, wake up. You have wool in your eyes.
