I've been out of the loop, but has it been confirmed whether or not Zeke will coach next year?

There are a couple of great coaches without jobs at the moment and I could see Zeke not wanting to be behind the bench another year. Or did Dolan mandate more coaching when he extended Zeke?

I think Thomas can hire a coach on the cheap. Wasn't Herb Williams promised the job when they hired Larry Brown. That should be in his contract, if it isn't he has a bad agent. I think Isiah still would like to bring Laimbeer here (who I think would actually help this team).

I actually think Isiah really loves coaching. I never got the idea that he wasn't into the job last year. I think that there have been rumors that he would hire a full time coach, but I don't really believe them. He's a Star type individual and being on the sidelines affords him more airtime and I don't think he's got a problem with that. Especially if this team starts winning a bit more and they get on National TV and the playoffs. If he makes a deal that can assure this team of several playoff seasson, why would he want to beg off from being front and center with a team like that? I believe Dolan wants him to coach and Isiah wants to coach.

My guess is Isiah wont have the option to hire another coach until a winning season has been had. Keep the blame deferral to a minimum.
