Well stop going to the games its a simple as that. Force Dolan's hand to sell the team. Like I said before the knicks could put a high school team out there and people will pack the building. I try to make atleast 10-15 games a year this year I didn't go to one. Why because its the only way to get Dolan and his cronies out of the Garden. When people realize that then there will be change. You can't grip about the team on the board and then go and support the Knicks management by going to the game.

If the Knicks trade the pick this year I'm not going to go to or watch any games. This is getting ridiculous.

I know that sounds bad..but I couldn't get into the games....plus, it was easy since I live in VA and all the stations (ESPN/ABC) pulled all the Knick games....

I think the Knicks may get lucky in the lotto, because networks would love to get the nYK market which has one of the largest following in the nation and the NY market. ABC/Espn/TNT they don't want to miss out on that they did that and they lost pretty much all the market that NYk has. Just imagine LeBron on the Knicks it would be mad.

If Knicks win the lotto everyone will be crying "foul"... I'm not even hoping for that...I just want layden to draft the best player available when it's time for the Knicks to pick.[p]I know ya don't want to read this, but I'm willing to go another season with K.Thomas on the squad, but this time playing PF. Layden needs to start thinking about cutting this payroll down!

One thing I don't understand about the Knicks fans is who the hell cares about what other fans think. If they want to cry foul let them they will do it for a year or two and then eventually that will fade away. I'll take LeBron and let them cry I'm fine with that.

This is a terrific idea. I mean, it sure worked for the Charlotte Hornet's fans, didn't it?

It works I mean just look at one of the largest corporations Time Warner-AOL they are selling the team because it runs in a loss. I think if the NYK fans get together and fight the power so to say then the Dolans will leave us NYK fans alone. He isn't gonna pull a Charlotte Hornet and take the team else where and get 30% of what the team is really worth. I think we fans act helpless but we are the ones that make the Knicks and were the one that can break them. The hard part is getting people on the same page, we can take a lesson from Charlotte and win.

Yeah, nobody in their right mind would ever move the team out of NY, then again, who knows if Dolan and Layden are sane. Regardless, if the team sucked and nobody went or watched, then Dolan would sell. Van Gundy said it the other day announcing the Kings game when they showed the Kings owners (the Maloof brothers), he said something to the extent that the owners make the organization, because they set the tone for what is to be expected, etc. Maybe that's why he bolted NY, he couldn't stand Dolan anymore, I sure as hell can't. Fact of the matter is the Knicks need a new owner, once they get a new one they'll be able to contend again. (either that or get LeBron.)

I couldn't agree more. They do need a new owner, but it won't happen like this.

You can talk all you want about Atlanta, but the fact of the matter is that's a terrible sports town. The owners understand that there isn't a worthwhile profit to be made there, and are calling it quits. Markets like Charlotte and NY are known for their basketball lure, and owners know this. They won't just sell when there is a profit to be made. Charlotte fans stopped going, and rather than sell and watch someone else rake in the dough, the Hornets owners decided to make money elsewhere.

I'm not saying the Knicks will pack up and leave, cause that'll never happen. I'm just saying "sit-outs" in big name markets don't work. All they have to say is "Don't like it? Say hello to an expansion team." and we go right back in.

What I think would be great is moving the New Jersey Nets back to New York. The Nets get better attendance rates than Miami, the fans gets a winning basketball team, and the city gets a great, new rivalry that splits loyalists and wagon-hoppers. Great, great stuff.
go knicks!

I agree with you the Knicks competition in New York. It would push the team to get better players and maybe a better plan of action. Really you can't totally blame Dolan for everything the guy has a clown running the show and the Knicks have become the joke of NBA. There is no way to justify giving and getting over the hill players and paying them like they are superstars. That is just poor management it means they haven't a clue of what is going on and how to run a franchise. I think Dolan needs to get involved more if he is going to be paying scrubs that kind of money then he has to realize that his management team is failing him and they are just using this Dice thing as an excuse for losing. One thing he should know since he has fired many cablebision employees over the last couple of years is that he can fire the management which has failed him. What is Dolan's fault is that he has a clown running the show.
