Minnesota Timberwolves

Incoming Players
Jamal Crawford
Salary: $7,200,000 Years Remaining: 5
PTS: 17.6 REB: 3.2 AST: 4.4 PER: 14.60
-Add Frye and Morris, and our late pick

Outgoing Players: Ricky DavisNew York Knicks

Incoming Players
Ricky Davis
Salary: $6,364,400 Years Remaining: 2
PTS: 17.0 REB: 3.9 AST: 4.8 PER: 15.97
-Their Draft Selection which is could be Brandon Wright

This move if we can get it done would solve a couple of needs and get us the powerfoward we are looking for, while getting rid of Jamals contract. IF the wolves would go with it we would have Francis, Marbury, and Davis expiring all at once.......

Marbury/Collins
Davis/Nate
Q/Balkman
Lee/Jefferies
Curry/Wright

Crawford vs. Davis

JC 17.6pts 4.4ass 3.2rbs 1.0stls 2.75tos 40%fg 32%fg
RD 17.0pts 4.8ass 3.9rbs 1.0stls 2.59tos 46%fg 39%fg

Ricky is the better player and defender, but they may like JC at the point and Randy at the two, channing at the 5.....

I wouldn't say that Ricky Davis is the better player. He may have had a better year, but I think crawford is the better talent.

This fills the SF spat hole somehow but makes the SG spot totally empty
It is no way to balance this team with one or even 2-3 trades
Exclusive mess...

In case you haven't notice, crawford never contributes to teams that aren't in the 49 loss column. Davis can play sg, hello...nate can be the backup in spot minutes.....Or Francis depending on whoever.....

I don't need 4 more years of low percentage shooting and zero defense. We are a mess but Wright has real potential and is noted as a hard worker and a good kid.....

We have Q and Balkman at the sf spot which I am very happy with right now, and if we want to trade nate for a late pick or package him away its all the better.....

With Crawford being the better talent? perhaps the deal gets done.....

JC 13.6pts 4.0ass 2.7rbs 1.1stls 40%fg 34%3fg

Maaan, you would love to get rid of Crawford.

And has a better attitude.

Why would they give up their draft pick? They should be able to get an athletic big man to help KG--or if they trade KG isnt pick 5 extremely valuable to them?

Talent means nothing when you've been in the league for years like Crawford has. He's not some prospective project where talent plays a big factor in a trade. We all know his game by now, his strengths (which are his talents), weaknesses.

I'd keep Crawford over Davis.

because this is a weak draft and clearly Crawford, Frye and Morris are better than pick 5 in this years draft.

I'd rather see if I can send Marbury 'home' to minny or get in on the KG sweeps- even if its as a third or fourth team helping swap players
Can we trade with the Timberwolves?
