Anyone? I thought it was disappointing, especially after the rumors of a presumably dead character coming back. Thoughts?

This season's been a letdown for me. THe villains arent as cool (how the hell did Fayed last up till ep 17??), the subplots were boring, some of the new characters you just couldnt care about. The only thing that kept me watching was seeing Jack kick ass

I thought so too. Worst season so far. My favorites are still season four and season one. Season six was lame because the plots were too recycled, and as you said, you just couldn't care for those characters.

All of the leaks the last few weeks that a character presumed dead was coming back... and then it didn't happen. That was annoying.

The whole season was disappointing. It's become too much of a soap opera. And there weren't enough plot twists, like characters who you thought were good guys but turned out to be bad guys. And I really wanted to know what happened to the two previous presidents (Logan and Palmer).

The Logan situation in season 6 was TERRIBLE. They bring him back for a few episodes, with no real role for him (although it looked like he would have one originally), just to basically kill him off (presumably), and now Martha will probably be jailed for a long time and Aaron Pierce probably won't be back on the show.

What was the point? Either give them a decent role in the season or don't bring them back.

Logan flatlining and then NOT telling us what happens is inexcusable.

Definitely a subpar season, but, in my opinion, a bad season of 24 is still better than anything else out there...season 1 and 3 are my favorites

The last episode is always anticlimactic and somewhat predictable. This season however was a disappointment. I didn't like the combination of the 2 crisis. When did China become a rogue state looking to start WW III? Getting that thing was so important that they were going to attack the US on US soil and then go after Russia in order to get it?

It's almost like they didn't have enough suitcase nuclear bombs material to fill 24 hours so they threw the Chinese in there as filler.

24 might have jumped the shark this year if they hadn't already.

Nadia however, kicks ass. I've thought she was really cute since she was Chevy Chase's daughter in Vegas Vacation.

Jumped the shark is a term that is commonly used for what happened in season six. Yes, a lot of it didn't make sense... and the plot lines involving the Bauer family gone bad were a little dumb at times. Yes, what China did is insane and too unrealistic to be believed. However, one of the rules is 24 is you have to suspend disbelief if you want to enjoy it. I know too many people complaining how the show isn't realistic enough. Then these same people watch one of those doctor shows where the person gets a disease the show totally made up and those same people are like, "what a great episode; that totally could happen". So...

Yes, there was a lot of filler. I think part of the problem was that they a nuke explode in episode 4. The first four episodes were outstanding! Then once a suitcase nuke went off, everyone knew, including the writers, that there was no way a second one was going to detonate. So we went 13 episodes until that situation was handled and then they threw in the China/Audrey subplot, which, while interesting, was just too unrealistic.

The prior seasons started slow, and really took four or five episodes just to build up the tension. Season six built up the tension AND climaxed in the first four episodes, then had no where to go.

Nadia was friggin' lame. Worst CTU director ever. Too indecisive to do the right thing, but when she's firm on a decision, you ALWAYS know it's wrong. I'll give you her looks, but hard to see someone so uselessly dumb running CTU.

i don't understand it. they had an amazing season last year that made it a can't miss show. this year, besides maybe the first episode when curtis was killed, the show went downhill. by far the worse season they had. good thing i tivo "heroes". now that is the show to watch.
